A preliminary crack at creating a logo for SILIM
Three years in the making, and now after two weeks of intensive learning, I am ready to launch my own vision.
It is called SILIM, and it is based on the Sumerian concept of: wholeness, completeness, in tact, healthy, at peace and safe.
It stands for:
Soul Integrity Language Innate Wisdom and Meaning.
I am developing a multi-disciplinary, client-centered approach that combines:
ACT, Compassion-Based & Narrative Therapy – Healing through meaning and acceptance.
Trauma-Informed & Somatic – Acknowledging how trauma manifests in the body and mind.
Psychodynamic & Inner Child Work – Healing relational wounds and early programming.
Systemic & Integrative – Addressing trauma through family dynamics, culture, and collective healing.
End-of-Life & Spirituality – Working with grief, mortality, and meaning-making.
I:
Don’t see people as broken, only disconnected – aligns deeply with integrative, somatic, and narrative therapies.
Bridge the clinical, holistic, and existential – holistic and comprehensive.
Focus on personal autonomy & de-pathologization – centred on ACT, trauma-informed care, and compassion.
This gives me the tools to help people heal from trauma in a personal, body-mind integrated, and spiritually meaningful way. It is a culmination of life long learning.
This is just the basic outline for now, but I am excited to experience where this will take us.
