When You Grow Up?

I did not know what I wanted to do. But I always knew the woman I wanted to be.

Known for her wrap dress, and a lot of other great fashion, this is not a quote I expected from Diana von Furstenberg. She comes across as the type of person who not only always knows exactly what she wants to do, but actually does it too.

My current job is just a means to an end. It offers mobility, as it is done remotely. The pay isn’t spectacular, but for a few years it afforded me my modest lifestyle. I want a new job.

I have a friend whose son is Atypical. When he was little, he was asked what he wanted to become when he grew up. “Myself. Just bigger.” It reminds me of another good quote: The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.
